Two Female Pastors

Being a female pastor in a challenging context.

In Poland and Lithuania alike, there is a strong and dominant Roman Catholic Church, and people’s perceptions of a pastor does not include being a woman, this off course also affects the perception in the United Methodist Church.

Jelena Kask, a deacon from Lithuania, and Monika Zuber, an elder from Poland, share their experience of being a female clergy in a context where almost all clergy are men.
